Jeannie's Quilt Blocks 9 & 10

Ruins of Jerico on left, Stockyard's Star for Nebraska on right.

Feature fabric for both is easist to see on outer edges of the Star for Nebraska.

These are getting easier. However, I'm making the 12 1/2" blocks. I can't imagine making the 6" blocks! I know one day I'll get confident enough to try smaller blocks, but the time isn't here yet!

I enlarged it to see the papers. Are those all the directions you get lol? This is the one where you meet monthly about them, right? They look very pretty.

Yes, this is all we get. Jeannie will give us a couple of hints that she found useful when she made the sample blocks (she makes both the 12" & 6" blocks). This is why I felt I was making a quilt from a pattern written in Greek! It is getting easier, though. There will be 24 blocks all together if I make all of them. It is fun, too, to match fabric from my growing stach with the monthly fabric she gives us.

I would like better instructions!

Some ladies are making all 6" blocks and some are making 12" with a few 6" to be added to the borders, which is a cool idea.
